Design in the wild photo contest on Thinglink.com

I recently joined Thinglink, a conversational catalog for design (kind of a twitter-platform only for designers).Thinglinks goal is to aggregate and inspire discussion about design. I have only been member for about a week but I am already Thinglink-addicted, and I think this is a great opportunity to show your work and network with others designers and producers! It is currently an invitation-only service but you now have the opportunity to get your invitation here at Playmedesign!

Design in the Wild, is an open photography contest on www.thinglink.com, it's all about capturing great design objects in their life outside the show room, and the grand prize is a Pastil chair! The first 50 participants who register for the contest via playmedesign will automatically become Playme-followers on Thinglink.com

About Thinglink
Thinglink is a new conversational product catalog and platform that enables users to post thoughts, ideas, questions and pictures related to products on the web. It goes a step further than conventional product catalogs by allowing users to improve information about products and designers, and upload photos of design objects in real life settings. The free service enables users to follow designers, brands, and other design enthusiasts and be notified about new conversations that concern the products they own or brands they are fans of. Likewise, designers and brands can follow what people are saying about their products. The service has been developed in cooperation with leading Finnish design brands including Martela, Eero Aarnio, Artek, Iittala, and Marimekko. Joining the Thinglink beta requires an invitation from an existing member. For more information and to request an invitation, visit http://www.thinglink.com.
