hello sweden

ADDI, is a designgroup with roots in Kalmar, Sweden. The group is founded by the young designers Johan Malmqvist, Andréas Karlsson and Eric Therner.
ADDI is a shortening of ADD Innovation and their company has been up going since 2006. They recieved the prestigious Red Dot design award in the catagory best concept design for the coathanger Stick To Me, also an Honorouble Mention in Primo Vico Magistratti, contest for DePadova with the bookshelf Billys Brother.




Here you can see one of their work Piano, which is a combined bikestand and park bench. The 90 degree angels creates an interesting and effectfull contrast in the landscape and it looks to me, like Sweeden made some brilliant ideas.
