Jellyfish fascination!

I don’t know why, but I have always been really fascinated by jellyfish. Since I was a kid I have gone to the beach in the summer trying to capture a small one, just to feel the strange sensations of its jelly, cold and slippery body in my hands. Over the years I have thought of them as something poetic almost magical, since they can be everything form invisible and harmless, too intimidating and deadly. Coe&Waito apparently shares my fascination as they have created an installation of 25-30 hand sculpted porcelain jellyfish… If your press more you can see some stunning photos from their installation and over you can see my own drawing of the beautiful creatures…
