One of my happy childhood memories is from when we were making potato-prints in kindergarten. I liked playing with colours and letters, and to see how the same shape I had cut out on the potato became a print on the paper. Trying to recreate such a good memory my good friend Tine Moe and I sat down with 2 kg of potatoes and made the font Potatabet. Take a look at our fun and childish work! Over you can see the numbers vectorized, and some of the letters non-vectorized...
it was actually not as easy as it might seem...Me in deep consentration..
In this big internet jungle it's so many good and bad design blogs and websites for people like us (involuntarily curious and addicted to news feeds about everything that has to do with design and culture/events). That's why we decided to have our own blog where the idea is that we post all the fun and interesting stuff we find out there. This is where we write our hearts out!
We've chosen the name Playmedesign so everybody can look at this blog as an open playground to play in ;)
Spread the word- Let's play!
