Riot!

The designer Janne Kyttänen wanted to bring the issue of global warming to debate, and made the lamp “Riot”. Riot is made by taking the hole life-cycle of a product in consideration, and is therefore using less storage, transportation, material, labor ect. Parts of the lamp are made of recycled items and it works only with Megaman energy saving bulbs.


The ide behind it is to inspire people to think twice about the waste around us, and how to save energy. The design is hard and reminds me of punk and revolution! A cool design with an important message.
