The designers behind Issey Miyake Watches

Not only is Mr.Issey Miyake a great fashion- and technology-designer, but on his team he has some other pretty amazing people too. Here I will show you the newest products from Issey Miyake Watch, and a small presentation of the designers behind the brand…


Naoto Fukasawa is a Japanese industrial designer, he established Naoto Fukasawa Design in 2003 and has done a lot of different works include MUJI'S CD player, the mobile phones "Infobar" and "neon" and the ±0 brand of household electrical appliances and sundries. In recent years, he has released a host of new works with Italian companies B&B Italia, Driade, Magis, Artemide, Danese and Boffi, as well as in Germany and Northern Europe, and they have garnered a great deal of attention. And as if that wasn’t enough he had won over fifty awards! Here you see his two watches trapezoid al and Twelve for Issey Miyake.

Tokujin Yoshioka
, also a Japanese designer, have since 1987 studied design form Shiro Kuramata and Issey Miyake. He have done some important works for brand such as Hermes, Lexus, Peugot, Toyota, Bmw, Apple and Audi. Here you can see his watch To for Issey Miyake.

Harri Koskinen
is educated in Helsinki at the Institute of Art and Design. The Block Lamp, that has become one of the most important design works in Design House Stockholm, is known all over the world! He have mase Vaiko and Vaiko2 for Issey Miyake.


Shunji Yamanaka started as an engineer and became a designer in 1987 after working for Nissa Motor´s Design Center. Since then he have designed everything form wristwatches to railway cars. Here are his Miyake watches Ovo and Insetto.
