Playdays at salone:
Now that Salone del mobile has arrived to Milan, there are nice design everywhere. Today I found "Domestic" on my walk around Zona Tortona.
Stéphane Arriubergé and Massimiliano Iorio are Domestic and they create collections of articles devised by designers, graphic artists or artists around innovative and original concepts and themes.
Most known to me for their wall stickers, a new type of interior. This is a great alternative to wallpaper. Domestic has already launched several different surface designs as "Vynil" and "Wall drawings", but also mirror design "narcisse", porcelain design "Surface 01", "Surface 02".
They even have a Vynil competition! This is absolutt something to check out.

As a good alternative to wallpaper, the Vynil collection, named
from the material from which it is made of, gives the hand to the
final user who, incited to turn his/her interior into a space of selfexpression,
becomes the designer of his/her own decoration. Vynil
turns the « wall space » into a playground where composition and
story telling are open for innovation.

Easy to install, self-adhesive, just pick your model out of the
collection, compose the visual representation by yourself, and
dress up a wall, door, piece of furniture… in your own home.
