There is something beautiful and yet disturbing about the jewelry from designer Julia deVille. She incorporates the symbols of death in her work to remind us that we are in fact all mortal, and to remember to enjoy the present. Combining gold and silversmithing with taxidermy makes her work something out of the ordinary, and to me personaly, very poetic and quiet.
Note: all animals she uses have died of natural causes.
