The italian designer Luigi Colani really is! It's not often you see this type of a traditional "everyday" object redesigned in such a different way like this one. It was an cooperation between him and the great and famous piano maker Schimmel. I'm not sure if I like it more than the traditional one, but I love the fact that they really went all the way!
