Sometimes a product gets hyped up by people around it, or in this case the internet. This simple packaging from Japanese designer Taku Satoh has been on a lot of different design-blogs lately, yet know one knows what it really contains. Some seems to think it contains strawberry milk since when spoken in Japanese, 1-5-3-6-9 sounds like ichigo miruku, which means strawberry milk. Whatever it contains Sakuma Confectionary Co, the brand behind it, has manage to make so much fuzz about keeping the content secret that they have manage to create a packaging already known allover the globe.

Cate and Nelson

Cate and Nelson is a Swedish/Spanish design duo based in Sweden. Their furniture-design is innovative, surprising and bold, yet with their main focus at the functionality of the product. I adore the detail in their work, like how this table lamp has an integrated slot to hold your books or magazines. Or how this sideboard is covered with felt so that it will also be soft sit on (an since I am a clumsy person maybe less hurtful to crash into?) As I have said before; I live in he tiniest apartment ever, and to hang pictures on the wall would just make the space seem heavy and even smaller. That’s why I found the perfect solution; wallstickers. I got a small one from a friend of mine the other day and it really just blends into the wall and give a decorative yet fresh and light feeling to the room. LED staircase handrail

A staircase handrails is normally used to lead and support people, but when I saw this LED staircase handrail designed by Zoran Sunjic from Croatia, I must admit my thoughts were something like ”ahh, why haven’t anyone thought of that before?”. Not only would this design light up dark spaces but it would also function as a guiding light, witch symbolise comfort and security in the dark. I can easily imagine how this could be really great in a metro or subway stations where you can get a bit confused by all the directions and stairways under ground. With different coloured light you would easily orientate and follow the light to find your way.

Roll-Out Veg Mat

Today I woke up to see that there was no longer any hope for the purple little plant I my window. I just have to admit it; I do not have green fingers. Chris Chapman has been kind enough to make a great solution to people like me with his Roll-Out Veg Mat. The corrugated cardboard mat is sowed with four types of vegetable seeds and organic fertilizer all ready to be rolled out, and all you need to do is add water and soil! The mat comes rolled up as a practical and cool packaging with good looking and fun graphic instructions on how to make your garden grow. Even I can do that!

I love digitalization, don’t get me wrong, but I still must admit that I have some sort of sentimental connection with the old cassette and vinyl’s. Nothing was as precious to me as my “Maj Britt Andersen” tape when I was about five. Dominic Prévost at studio output has made some really nice campagne prints for ministry of sound London, and I love the way he used the old mixtape as symbol. Each cassette has undergone an intervention to symbolize the contrast to the iPod lists and digital music that we have today.

During Salone del mobile this spring I grabbed a small box with a nice design, and it was first when I got home to take a closer look I realised it was a small box of condoms or a pack of love as its called. The packaging it self don’t immediately strike you as a condom pack, cause it doesn’t have the cheesy fruit flavour-design or the strong and ”screaming” colours that others condom packs normally do. A pack of love on the other hand is subtle and elegant; it looks like a fancy mach-box and opens the same way. It contains 3 condoms and it’s already to bee found at Berns hotels in Sweden!

Unfortunately I have not been blessed with a superman body that never gets ill, quite the opposite in fact. There are no packaging’s as boring as the ones I gets my medicine in, and I would love to spice it up with these elegant and funny pill-boxes from helpineedhelp. I really think they are a great inspiration to the rest of the medical industry in how they have managed to give their products a funny, yet communicative and well-functional design, and the cream of the crop is that the boxes are made of corn resin and paper pulps so that they are compostable. Oh, and if you are board they can actually help you with that as well on their page!

To demonstrate the biodegration of their packaging you could follow the online experience on a daily basis. Sadly, at fourteen days and twenty-two minutes they were forced
to postpone the experiment in biodegrading due to an officefly infestation. It will return shortly.

I have recently moved into the smallest, but also most cozy apartment ever, and I´m therefore a bit tuned into practical yet good looking solutions to interior and decorating. I must say I like this wall-mounted coat rack called Ribbon. Its inspired by a ribbon blowing in the wind, it bridges the gap between function and art - it is a practical, everyday storage solution when in use, and sculptural wall art when free from coats!

iQ font

One great tip I got over the summer was from Tom, telling me about these two typographers Pierre and Damian from pleaseletmedesign, who has collaborated with the pro race pilot Stef van Campenhoudt in making a new font! The font was made using a Toyota iQ car and a custom software, designed by interactive artist Zachary Lieberman, tracking the cars movements. The result is a quit a nice font witch you can download for free here! Check out the making of the font in the movie under, and press more to see more images!

Solli diskoklubb- Trekkfugl

I promised you some more stuff from Anti design agency and I start off with this cover illustrations from Martin Stousland´s portfolio. The design is for the release of the Oslo based Solli diskoklubb. The title of the release "Trekkfugl" means migrant in Norwegian. "Trekke på et hjørne" is referring to prostitutes hanging out on corners trying to get customers. So Martins idea was based around drugged out prostituted birds. For the promotion of the release, a cocaine bag was produced, which contained the flyer, stickers and a mirrored paper where you could prepare your "cocaine". I simply loves this crazy and out of the box idea, and with the typical 80´s colours of peach and popping turquoise he has managed to make the design with both humour, elegance and a little touch of disco.

And while we are speaking of creative people looking for work; Ole Magnus Saxegård is a freelance motion designer and animator currently searching for something to do in Oslo. He has studied at University of Technolgy in Sydney for the last 5 years and worked at The Solid State, and I noticed him for the first time with his animation film called “history of evil”. ‘A History of Evil’ was intended to show what people have believed in and pointed to as evil throughout history. It was meant to get you to think about what evil really is. It is meant to show that when we get too obsessed with “evil” we might end up taking part in it ourselves´

I’ve written about Anti design agency several times here on Playmedesign, and its time to do it again. Why? One reason is that one of my best friends work there (say hello to the world Tine) another reason is that I think they are brilliant in what they do, and I believe there are few others on the same level when it comes to graphic design in Norway. It is hot and sunny in Norway and I couldn’t think of a more perfect time to write about the graphic designer and illustrator Janine Rewell from Helsinki, Finland. Not only has she made this hilarious tanning design crated with vinyl stickers and a solarium, but her style is just colorful, bright and its what I like to call feel-good design. (It simply just makes me smile to look at it). Together with Taivas Helsinki , Janine Rewell recently won the Design Lions at Cannes for their Good Mood pattern!

Vladimir Rachev has some really great ideas and concepts in his portfolio. Many of them are only made as models or prototypes but I really like his fun and twisted approach to product design. I really hope the ironphone will be produced, how funny is that!?! Take a look at some of his great ideas here!

Soil, is a reminder of the cultivation origins and that more and more food is produced in artificial environments. This cutlery goes back to the basis of farmer-life.

Perch stools, handmade in bluefoam and MDF models, seating arrangement for gallery, exhibitions and other public places. Design inspired by tree branch!

Switch, is a good design and a good symbol of presence, beliefs and the choices we make. The switch works as an ordinary touch sensitive switch, only that whenever one touch it the light goes brighter and brighter.

An iron and a phone have in an odd way a lot of similarities. Vladimir have made a fun mixture of them and it makes you think whether or not you would hold the ironphone with a little distance from you ear maybe..?

Right now it is so hot in Norway that I kind of want to wear as little as possible and walk around barefoot all the time. Chris and Ruby on the other hand think its a good idea to put socks on, not only on ourselves but on our tables as well. They’ve made these personality socks for table feet’s, simply to spice up you furniture!

Mark Mawson part #2

There is almost no end to what you can do with colours and these beautiful photography’s from Mark Mawson are good examples of just that. He has made a series of pictures in the exact moment colourdrops are being poured into water and blends out into beautiful shapes. If you’ve followed this blog a while you might have noticed my hang-up on jellyfishes, and I cant help but to see the resemblance in these color-shapes. Love it!

I started to write a post about the Australian photographer Mark Mawson, but realized I actually had to split the post in two. He has 2 different teams in his photos that just are outstanding, so here it goes:
I have written about works from artists like bill viola and Gregory Crewdson, and just like them Mark Mawson uses the perfect twilight in his photos combined with what to me seems like an expression of emptiness and melancholy. I am completely fascinated by this light and “silence” and have to place Mawson on my list of favorite photographers.

I consider my self an animal lover, but I don’t really like mice or rats that much. I don’t like killing them either, but with this coffin/ muse trap at least they will die with a little dignity! This fun and morbid design was made by student Sarah Déry for a packaging class at UQAM university. The clever thing about this packaging is also that you don’t have to get the dead mouse out of it, you can simply just bury the hole thing!

Never Use White Type on a Black Background

We designers do have a lots of rules for does and don’ts, and although many of them actually work, I can see how some of them are simply just ridiculous. Anneloes van Gaalen has just finished the book in which she tackle all the ridiculous fashion and design rules (from Less is More to Form Follows Function). It's quite a fun little book with 51 of these rules, their history, quotes by designers and images that support, negate or illustrate the rule. Here are some spreds from the book, I recommend you to click on the picture to see it in large and read the witty text.

They book is called Never Use White "Type on a Black Background -And 50 other Ridiculous Design Rules" it´s funny and edgy, and is a perfect gift for the designer that wants a good laugh or to anyone else who want a good laugh at designers.

The Austrian artist Willi Dorner likes to squeeze human bodies into small and odd spaces, and he does so creating some really nice photography’s. I’m not a big fan of room dividers unless they have an extra purpose other than just dividing the room. For instance I don’t think decorative elements hanging from the wall serves a function that can bee called a room divider. Yes it may give the room a certain feeling of being separated but only in an optical way and really its is more a decor than a alternative wall! I do on the other hand like a room divider like this one from Israeli designer Nitzan Cohen. Nan15 is a storage space, a bookshelf and it is decorative at the same time, you can place on over the other and build yourself a wall- That’s what I call a real room divider!

Today I came to work and caught the glimpse of something relly cool over the shoulders of my colleges. Grid design has recently made a new generic packaging concept of “non-branded” bottles of alcoholic beverage for off trade use (bars, restaurants etc). Since the bottles are non branded the design is based on the clear message: It’s …! Andrea della Vecchia is the guy behind Designaddicted and he certainly has a surprisingly bizarre and blasphemic sense of humour to be an Italian. Few of my Italian friends can joke about the catholic religion or the common use of cocaine in Milan these days, but Della Vecchia speaks his opinion through objects like the BLACK & WHITE table that is perfect for cocaine sniffing, and BODY & BLOOD the portable holy communion for everyone is addicted to catholic religion.

How cool is this!? I love popcorn and I love cleaver designs, and Anni Nykänen of Packlab at Lahti Institute of Design in Finland has really amazed me with this brilliant popcorn package that not only looks good while you pop your popcorns in the microwave but the packaging itselfs pops-up into a nice bowl when your popcorn is ready to be served!

Recently I’ve been really fascinated by underwater photography. I’ve tried it a couple of times my self with little or no success to talk about. Knowing how difficulty it is, I have deep respect and fascination for the once that really do manage to get some great shots. Here are my collections of great underwater photography’s through times…

Alinka Echeverría’s has made a beautiful film about synchronised swimmers, filmed upside down from underwater. The film and the stills are simply gorgeous and surreal at the same time. See the film here!

Long time ago we wrote about the amazing work of Zena Holloway here at playmedesign, and she still keeps blowing us away with here great pictures.
At 18 she travelled the world working as a scuba instructor developing a passion for underwater photography and film.

I like it when you can see the inspiration for a product in the end result, and in this chair from Dror Benshetrit you can clearly see his peacock inspiration. He has managed to create a chair for Cappellini avoiding the banal peacock clichés, but still maintaining a certain resemblance.

At first glance I didn’t really see what the fuzz was all about, but when seeing the hole set of products together, even I was convinced that this was the perfect design for a brand like Moshi Moshi Mind with their focus on wellness, relaxation and luxury.

Well it is obviously a Greek trend to freshen up the packaging of buildings materials, and here is yet an example; K2DESIGN has designed the dark and seductive graphics on Emulsion Paints boxes. Pipe Headset CMYK is as the name suggest, a colourful pair of headbuds. The design is a collaboration between Danish AIAIAI and the Kilo Design. AIAIAI is, apart from hosting a club on top of the old industrial building, a collective consisting of more than 200 young artists, musicians and designers. They have a lot of really nice headset designs and I strongly recommend a visit to their site as well as their rooftop!

Rarely does a graphic designer go into the field of furniture design, but this time I am really glad Antoine+Manuel has. They normally do graphic design in Paris but now they’ve also designed “Cabinet Tout va bien” as a part of the new collection to B.D. With mixture of applied arts, hieroglyphic language, contemporary graphics, fantasy and optimism, I hope and believe that Antoine+Manuel has set the standards for future furniture design!

One of my best friends is a fashion designer and today she was telling me how she´s almost sacrefising her fingers to sew one wedding dress after another. It is spring and also the busiest time of year to get married! A wedding is not only a celebration of love, but it’s in fact also a huge event that needs to be planed and designed down to the smallest detail. Normally there is little or nothing inspiring about the big bags of cement, but Mouse graphics have gone in a new direction with their package design, and I can imagine that construction workers all over the world will thank them for it! It is spring and sunny and for many that means bringing a beer or two to the park and chilling under a tree. Not all beer bottles comes with a twist caps, but this great design from Dany Boone has the solution. He has made a packaging of 4 beers that can be kept for camping or any outdoor activities, with a bottle opener integrated in the packaging as well as the graphic design. This will make the bottle-opening much easier but maybe not the recycling part…

Sometimes I wonder if I am adopted. I don’t like the cold Norwegian winters, I hate cross-country skiing, I don’t think the Norwegian national costume is nice and I am not particularly found of fish (unless its sushi). But I must admit that with a packaging like this even I might get temped to buy fish-products. Edward Albert is a graphic design student at San Diego State University and for this project he was inspired by his own travels and experiences as a commercial fisherman working in Alaska.

A little back I got an email from Giorgio Biscaro, who had got some of his products published by Slide Design and Bosa Cermiche, at to Salone Satellite of Milan this year. He was one of the few Italians that actually exhibits at salone and his work range from organic to sharp and edgy. Take a look!

Over you see Cobu at the top and Metamerick under. Cobu is a suspension light in cork and glass, and Metamerick A versatile table. It's composed by trapezoidal modules you can assembly in two different ways to create not only linear tables. The modules can also work as a lighting module or storage module, or whatever. ( personally I really likes this table!)

Lamp for Bosa Ceramiche, the lamp is created by using the natural characteristic of ceramics to resist heat.

I don’t know if it works or not, but with a design like this I am tempted to try it anyway. The beautiful illustrations are made in combination with manipulated photography by Oneighty Creative. If I should criticize anything with it, is that it almost looks to good to be a Skin Care Product, but more like a fresh summer drink or maybe even a modern champagne bottle.

As I am writing this I am amazed, exited and surprised; to night I’ve been to the pre-premier of the 3D animation film Coraline from director Henry Selick! I’ve seen some 3D films before but nothing like this. The story it self is a classical children story with funny, joyful moments witch turns into a fairytale nightmare; witch makes the movie appealing to adults as well as children. But what really make this movie is the insane animation work, and detail design, all handmade and shot in stereoscopic 3D. Even the tiniest little detail pops outs on the screens and blows you away! I don’t have anything else to say other than this is a movie you just have to see!

At a huge furniture fair like Salone del mobile, it is important to differentiate your stand form all the others. Cause as a visitors at the fair you see so much in such a short time that it’s important to be among those stands you actually remember afterwards. On of those I remember was the stand ”Dark matter”. Why I remember this? Well, among many stands with white and bright designs, it was almost a relief to see something dark and with a bit more attitude. So take a look at the Dark Matter, social design from Lebanon, by Wyssem and Cécile Nochi.

This might come of as a little bit harsh, but the thing is that I saw these furnitures at Salone Satellite witch I kind of thought was worth showing to you. So I went to talk to designer and ended up getting a press kit. And I really did have the intention to write something good about these furnitures, but when I opened the press kit I just started laughing of this tacky image. So the reason to why I am showing you these designs from Sebastian Jansson is kind of mixed, but here they are anyway!

If you read this blog regularly you should know by now that I have a little hang up for jellyfishes. And I am happy to see that jellyfishes are a big inspiration to others as well, now that they are popping up in products and animations. The most magnificent jellyfish-thing I saw at Salone del mobile was the amazing Canon installation of Neoreal at Trienale. Huge organic shaped screens, soft music and interactive projections on the screens gave the room the sensation of an underwater world. Thanks to advanced projection technology the beautiful jellyfishes would appear on the screens as you got close to it. a collaboration between architect Akihisa Hirata and interactive artist Takahiro Matsuo.

Every year I am exited to see the stands of design schools from all over the world, cause sometimes they are really inspiring and sometimes they are just simply boring, The school witch stood out the most at Zona Tortona this year was definitely Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle with their exhibition called Graduate. Here you can see “T stands for trouble” by Konrad Lohöfener. This is a table made with baseball bats as its legs. These carry the table and can be easily undone for effective action. Another treat from Salone Satellite was a stand with a long table filled with small objects. The objects would be anything for the table, such as reading lamps, flowerpots, plates and glasses. And what really made the exhibition stand out was the small details of tiny figures placed around on the products, as if the figures were real people exploring the products as though it was architecture. Unfortunately the images don’t give you the same impression as I got on the fair, but still, D.Lab have managed to create a playful, elegant and fresh design for the table.

More furniture’s from Salone del mobile, and this time it’s from theSwiss Pour les Alpes. At salone satellite they are showing the three chests of drawers ‘Ehrfurcht’, ‘Neugierde’ and ‘Sehnsucht’, witch are the perfect combination of product design and traditional craftsmanship from the Swiss Alps. I love how these furnitures seems like mass-produced and polished items on the outside, but when you open them (and the openings are quite creative) it reveles the true craftmanship on the inside.

Last year at Salone del mobile we posted a picture of a really cute lamp from the Mooi exhibition. After that I received a couple of mails asking me who the designer was, but unfortunately I didn’t know. This year I can tell you that the designer is Nika Zupanc, and this time she is not only showing her work at Mooi and Moroso but she also have her one stand, in fact her own dollhouse-stand at Superstudio Piu. The exhibition is called “I will buy flowers myself” and contains some pretty nice furniture’s for both kids and adults. The design itself comes across as very sweet but with and edgy and playful touch to it…

Yet another great day in Milan, it really is inspiring looking at all the different exhibitions here! For instant at Salone Satellite I met some nice, Swedish guys that forms the design group Brikolör. They have the ambition to manufacture furniture with a guaranteed emotional and technical durability of 300 years. As if that wasn’t enough they also claim that Brikolör will save the world. Second of is a series of object witch I immediately fell in love with. The designs of Laura Pregger is elegant, sophisticated and with a little twist. Turning cups and soup bowls into lamps, she creates a new and modern lamp-look with a nice and warm light. The porcelain lamp is also eco-friendly, because it is made out of recycled porcelain. The day has been perfect with sun, good friends and a lot of nice projects and products to look at in Zona Tortona. The first one I present must simply bee Pieke Bergmans because it was the first one I visited, and what a nice way to start off the day. The car is a fully transparent LF-A designed out of acrylic. I need a change of scenes since things haven’t really gone my way lately, and what better than to jump on a plain to the city where I studied for 4 years and where the hole world gets together this week to celebrate design? Since I’ve lived in Milan I’ve really seen how the whole city comes to life during Salone del mobile, and I can’t wait to feel the happy and friendly atmosphere walking around in design-paradise. So here is a little peek on my “have to see”-list.

Redlightdesigneven is an exhibition with an erotic atmosphere, with the goal to recreate the erotic mood of Amsterdam red light district. Among the many designers they have invited to design erotic objects are Richard Hutton with a series of glass dildo´s on champagne glass stem, to celebrate special moments. (see the picture over)

My friend So Takahasi is exhibiting his fantastic origami chairs at deisgnersblock, and I’ll be at the opening party ! Designesblock always has a lot of interesting objects to show, and I must say I am exited to try this cactus chair from Valentina Gonzalez Wohlers.

And of course I have to visit my old school Naba. They are turning campus into a big playground with workshops, and exhibitions. They are also exhibiting at Triennale Design Museum, with the team: Compito in classe: …perche’ ti dovrei ascoltare professore? (Why do we have to listen to the teacher? ) Don’t really know what this is, but I promise to go, take pictures and let you know!

Zona Tortona is as usual my favourite spot in Milan. On every corner there is a new designer waiting to show you his or hers design. After trying to schedule where to go at what time last year, I am trying out the opposite tactic this year; just simply walking around seeing what I stumble across.

And off course I have to pay a visit to Fiera at Rho and Salone Satellite,every year the big hall fills with undiscovered talents of young creative.

Well that’s what I’ve planed so far. Know its not much but I have been overwhelmed by all the design, exhibitions, workshops, apretivos and happy people before, and I am ready to be it again, so stay tuned for updates!

The bottle is called Voler witch in French means to fly; a sensation witch you might feel drinking absinthe. I love the nostalgic illustrations on the bottle that gives you the association of the artistic life in Paris of the end of 19th Century.

The movie called Objectified is made by directed by Gary Hustwit's, (the man who did the documentary on Helvetica), and digs deeper into our relationship with manufactured objects and the people who design them. Participating in the documentary are also a handful of well know designers, giving their points of views on design. Objectified will open May 5th in the states, and I can hardly wait until its available in Europe as well…

Food design is a term many of us are well familiar with, but still, it can be rather difficult finding specific information on the topic. So what is food design? I have taken a closer look at the term, and on some designers working with food as their main material…

"A food designer is somebody working with food, with no idea of cooking". Inga Knölke, 1999

According to Martí Guixé who had the very first food design exhibition in 1997, Food design is a discipline that makes it possible to think in food as an edible designed product, an object that negates any reference to cooking, tradition and gastronomy.
Over you see his I-cakes where the pie graphic indicates the ingredients of the cake in percentages.Decoration becomes information.

One of today’s most important food designers might be Marije Vogelzang's, although she prefers the title Eating-Designer. She works in context of Dutch design, international design and trends in food, eating culture and society. Last year she launched her book Eat Love, exploring our relationships to food, and is how so few of us fully engage all five senses when we eat. Vogelzang’s goal is to entertain yet it must also nourish and engage the senses, to engage a dialogue about the psychological, cultural and design elements of food.

But the terms of Food Design can change if you just as a little & in the middle. Food & Design on the other hand is not objects with food as the main material, but it can be used as a term to describe design objects important to show off, or even serve, the food on. One example is packaging design, where the design part lays in the packaging and the food is main product.

The lines between designer, chefs and pastry chef seem to get thinner and thinner each day. The well-known American pastry chef Bakerella is a great example of just that. On her blog she updates us on how to bake cakes that not only have a great taste but it has to look good as well! Her creations are like eye-candy to watch, with strong colours and great product photos.

The terms for what is design, what is food, what is packaging and what is what… might be a bit confusing but one thing is crystal clear: the relationship between food and design is and will be an important aspect of the future of food culture. (and maybe even culture in general). Over you see Coffeesphere — coffee that can be eaten like an oyster, produced using sferificación, a technique invented by Adrià, in constant evolution.

People who know me well know that I have some kind of hang up on gravestones. No no, don’t get me wrong- its not in a creepy way, I just really see the potential for design improvements when it comes to objects and even ceremonies around death. At least here in Norway, the graveyards are dark and depressive and I really believe there is a great opportunity to redesign it into something more aesthetic but with the same ethic- and religious approach. ANYWAY, my point is: someone how have done this is Akos Maurer Klimes and Peter Kucsera together Ivanka. SEEYOU is a headstone made out of poured concrete, and as the seasons passes by the cross will be fill with rain, snow and leaves.

I am back, and it is spring! Time to take out your bikes and enjoy that the snow is melting away! This cute bicycle from Electra has been decorated with the illustration of Alexander Girard. Girard is widely known for his contributions in the field of American textile design, particularly through his work for Herman Miller. With the illustrations of Madonna and Tree of Life on these bicycles, the work of Girard (who died in 1993) has been brought back to life.

Robbie Powell recently graduated from Think College Of Design in Sydney, and he has some really nice work in his portfolio of Communication Design. His design is clean and expressive and although he is from Australia, it almost looks like his style is a bit Scandinavian. His work comes across as simple ideas executed in a really cool way, making the design come together as a brilliant whole. Take a look at some of his project here…

Personally I must say I really love this design created by Robbie Powell and Felix Lobelius. Business cards can be so overdone or fancy, but here they have managed to create a clean and fresh design hand stamping each business cards and the use stickers with contact info.

Design for the debut record of the Australian post-hardcore band Gallucci. Throughout their record they capture the moment, the energy and extreme nature of a live show, and that is exactly what Robbie Powell has captured in this design.

They make tasty fruit snacks from the purest freshest fruit. They never add sugar, preservatives or other naughtiness to their treats. But the product stands out in other ways as well; they have managed to create a web site and a packaging that is fun, emotive and tactile. With illustrations from Hennie Haworth and web design by pensandpencilsandpens they have managed to make this into a healthy, yet cool alternative to candy!
